boys team charity - Prospective Member

Dear Prospective boys team charity League Member,

Thank you for your interest in joining the boys' team charity (btc). Boys team charity is a volunteer service organization dedicated to developing an altruistic spirit in young men through the active participation of parents and sons in philanthropic projects in their community.

The Prospective Member Application period is OPENED from the beginning of March until the second General Meeting which usually occurs in Fall (late September or early October). However we do not recommend waiting to enroll as our summers are busy with numerous opportunities, projects, and events, and you do not want to miss out on getting to know your teammates and earning philanthropy hours.
When completing the form, please choose the Coach who is most responsive to email as Coach 1.
Once we have received this form, your information will be shared with the Membership team working on forming the classes in the league, and Coach 1 will be contacted by the Membership team. Please be patient as you may not be contacted for a week or two!

Hours Requirements:
Annual minimum Philanthropy Service Hours requirements for both boys and parent(s):
Grade 7, 8, & 9........................15 hours each*
Grade 10, 11, & 12..................10 hours each*

Annual minimum League Hours requirements for both boys & parent(s): 6 hours minimum each, earned by attending general or grade level meetings as mentioned above.

Volunteer requirements: btc is a volunteer organization that is operated by parent volunteers. Parents are expected to participate as a volunteer in some capacity during their years in btc, and take on leadership roles.

Do not worry about filling out the Sponsor portion if you do not have one. We will assign a sponsor to you if that is the case.

Financial Requirements: Each league has annual membership dues that are used to cover the costs of operating the league.
